FOR TITLES AVAILABLE IN HARDBOUND
- Titles with hardbound are accessible on-site.
- Library users should submit to the library staff the filled-out request form available at the Special Collections counter.
- A valid UP school ID/ registration is deposited in exchange for the hardbound thesis/ SP.
- Used materials must be returned to the library staff in exchange for their submitted ID.
CEM Thesis and SP are strictly for library use only.
RESTRICTED ACCESS
Below are the requirements needed to access the Thesis and Special Problem reports that are restricted to the general public.
- Letter of request addressed to the Head, CEM Library: ANGELIC A. BAUTISTA, RL., MLIS. The letter must be endorsed by the requestor’s adviser with permission from the (1) author, (2) author’s adviser. See sample letter
- In the event that the author’s adviser is no longer connected to the University or is on study leave, the department chair must endorse the letter of request.
- All documents must be printed and signed in wet signature and submitted to CEM Library.
ACCESS FOR NON-UPLB
Requests to access are accepted through the CEM Library Request Portal
Non-UP researchers may access copies of the Abstract, Executive Summary, Review of Related Literature (RRL), and bibliography for a research fee of PHP 50.00 per request.
Payments should be made via GCash to Mr. Norman A. Banasihan, Special Collecting Officer, at 0916-412-0377. Please indicate “Document Delivery” in the message box when processing your payment.
Once the payment is completed, kindly send us proof of the transaction. Upon verification, we will provide a secure link to view the permitted pages of the requested document. Please note that downloading, copying, or sharing of the content is strictly prohibited.
Materials available in hardbound format may be accessed on-site, subject to the existing visitor policies. You may conveniently check the list of CEM manuscripts.
