IDEAS is the main bibliographic archive dedicated to Economics, and it is publicly available on the Internet. It indexes over 3,400,000 pieces of literature, including over 3,100,000 that can be accessed in full text, according to RePEc.

arXiv.org is an online distribution website and open-access repository with 1,866,054 academic publications in astronomy, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, psychology, electrical engineering and systems science, and economics. The materials on this website have not been peer-reviewed by arXiv.

Open Access Theses and Dissertations
OATD.org aims to be the best possible resource for finding open access graduate theses and dissertations published around the world. Metadata (information about the theses) come from over 1100 colleges, universities, and research institutions. OATD currently indexes 5,637,171 theses and dissertations.

Scilit database is a free, unique and fast-growing indexing database of scientific and scholarly literature. It holds over 130 million works (journal papers, books, book chapters, conference papers, preprints, etc.) and more than 1.1 billion citations from over 22 thousand publishers.

Although the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), which is owned by Elsevier, covers a broader range of disciplines than just economics and business studies, it is considered to be the largest disciplinary repository in these fields. A total of around 800,000 full texts are available in open access, over half of which are in the domains of economics and business studies.

This publication server, which is provided by the ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics, holds over 200,000 open access full texts. For the most part, these are working papers, but holdings also include conference proceedings and journal articles. EconStor publications are also indexed in RePEc as well as in Google Scholar and EconBiz.

This disciplinary repository is operated by the University of Minnesota and funded mainly by the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association. It holds over 150,000 freely accessible full texts, mainly from the areas of agricultural and applied economics. All publications in AgEcon Search are also indexed in RePEc.

The Munich Personal RePEc Archive (MPRA) is hosted by Munich University Library; it holds over 50,000 economics publications from all over the world. As a rule, publications are not deposited by institutions or publishers but rather self-archived by individual researchers and then released by an editorial team and indexed in RePEc.

The ASEAN Digital Library is a regional project to aggregate and connect the digitised resources of National Libraries in the ASEAN region so that these repositories can be accessed through a single search facility. ADL will be a boon to users and researchers. In addition, ADL provides global exposure and visibility of ASEAN content; and engages citizens of ASEAN nations in sharing and learning about their cultures and heritage; thus nurturing an appreciation of the ASEAN Identity.
ADL is a project led by the National Library Board of Singapore, with support from the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (COCI).
